Fuling Sun was born Jan 4, 1936, in HeBei China, the son of Mr. & Mrs. LanTing Sun.  He was a civil engineer, and a very hard worker.  He biked to work one hour each way for 35 years, never missed a single day of work.  He was very well respected in the community.  He retired and moved to United States in 1998.

He was a loving husband, great father and role model, and extraordinary grandfather.

His survivors include his daughter and son in-law, SunLi and Ronnie Parker of Grain Valley, MO; son and daughter in-law, Yong Sun and Bo Yu of Liberty, MO; daughter and son in-law, Lian Sun and Scott Lin of Springfield, MO; and daughter, Shu-qin Li of China; seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
