Juanita Laverne Thorne, 69, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Tuesday July 9, 2013 at her home.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 13, 2013 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Juanita was born June 2, 1944 in Otterville, MO to Linter & Leona (Farr) Shults. Juanita married Jasper “Jack” Thorne on July 13, 1963.
She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents: Linter & Leona Shults; 1 sister: Joan Cook.
Juanita is survived by her husband Jack of the home; 3 daughters: Rita St. John & husband Steven of Springfield, MO, Therese Johnson & husband Jon of Oak Grove, MO, Tina Perkins & husband Patrick of Leawood, KS; 1 son: Charles Thorne & wife Lisa of Augusta GA; 3 sisters: Eunice Emig of Knob Noster, MO, Judy Masters & husband Clyde of SD, Jane Barnes & husband Bob of Mesquite, NV; 3 brothers: Bobby Wayne Shults & wife Pat of Sedalia, MO, Raymond Shults & wife Debbie of Bennington, NE, Ron Shults & wife Kim of Platte City, MO; 10 Grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
