Gisela Dora Rosa Voyez age 91 of Independence, MO. passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018. Services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 11:00 a.m. at the New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, MO. The family will greet friends starting at 10:00 a.m.
Gisela was born on October 23, 1927 in Bremen, Germany the daughter of Johann and Johanna (May) Renken. She had a big heart and would always be seen with a smile on her face. She was talented artist, loved dogs especially Cocker Spaniels. Most of all Gisela loved her family and taking care of her son.
Gisela is survived by her four children, Sandra (Paul) Ford of Independence, MO. Jacob and Charles Meyer also of Independence, MO. and Jane Wieden of Reading CA. four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Meyer, two brothers and one grandson, John Meador Jr.
