Olline Young, 91, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8th at Faith United Methodist Church, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the church. Olline was born May 3, 1920, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Henry and Maude Hayes. She retired from Bendix in 1980. Olline loved to garden, sew, and spend time with her family. She was a bingo caller at the Grain Valley Senior Citizen Group and she was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Olline was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Alexander Young & Floyd “Pat” Young; son, Billy R. Young; and five brothers & sisters.
Her survivors include her daughter-in-law, Alice Young of the home; granddaughter, Patty Young & husband, Huan Nguyen of Grain Valley; granddaughter, Kimberly Ames & husband, John of Grain Valley; grandson, William A. Young & wife, Nicole of Blue Springs, MO; great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Hannah & Matthew; and her beloved cat, Frankie.
