Wendel “Glenn” Williams, 84, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26th at Community of Christ Church, 19th & Broadway, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Glenn was born November 5, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Wendel and Helen (Wyatt) Williams. He was a home builder and cabinet maker. Glenn enjoyed spending time on his houseboat, fishing, and traveling the world with his wife, Elaine.
His survivors include his wife, Ila Elaine Williams of the home; his son, Glenn Alan Williams of Oak Grove; two grandchildren: Glenn Alan Williams Jr., and Julie Nicholls & her husband Brandon, all of Oak Grove; and two great-grandchildren: Jordon and Josh Nicholls. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
