Darel R. Willoughby, 49, of Blue Springs, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014.
Darel was born April, 19, 1965, in Kansas City, Mo. He was the son of Earl Roy & Beverly Ann (Milner) Willoughby
Darel worked in environmental services for 20 plus years. When he wasn’t working he would be outside working in the yard or tinkering with lawnmowers. His favorite thing to do was golf. His sense of humor was a true gift there was no one better at making us laugh, even in the toughest struggles. He will be truly missed by us all.
Surviving are his son Jacob Willoughby of Independence; daughters Sadie Willoughby of Independence, Misty Squire of Independence; sister: Kimberly Iekel of Blue Springs; brother: John Willoughby of Independence; and several grandchildren and other family members.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life event to be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday July 19, 2014. At his sons home 916 N. Cherokee St. Independence Mo. 64056.
