Donald “Don” Gean Gaddie, 74, of Independence, MO passed away May 27, 2020 surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 14th with a Celebration of Life at 2:30 p.m. at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home in Independence.
Don was born October 12, 1945 in North Little Rock, AR to James & Clara Gaddie. He was a Boy Scout Leader and a member of APA (American Pool Association). He enjoyed playing pool, deer hunting, riding motorcycles, and loved to travel. Don especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends. He was known for his unique laugh and in infectious smile.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He is survived by his wife Beverly of the home; sons, Sean (Arin) of Independence, MO, and John Riley of Grandview, MO; sister, Lavone Brown of Conway, AR; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces nephews.
Don left a message to family and pool players “I miss you and I love you.” To the Scouters “How How!”
