Laura “Oma” Morr Johnson, 63, of Grain Valley Missouri passed away peacefully at home on the 23rd of January, 2022 at 10:30am. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 5th at 10am with a funeral service held immediately after at 11am at the same place. The services will be held at Summit Springs Church, 1821 SW 7 Highway, Blue Springs, MO 64015. In lieu of flowers, live plants can be sent to the church where services will be held.
Laura was born November 8th, 1958 to Jennifer and Richard Morr in Thousand Oaks, California. Laura married Dennis Johnson on November 9th, 1999 on a road trip to California with their oldest grandchild. She worked various jobs in California and Missouri before settling down and raising her family in Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jennifer and Richard Morr, her brother Richard Morr, her son Michael Ramirez, and her grandchild Nikole Isabella.
She is survived by her sisters Shannon Morr Posatiere and Kathy Morr, her children Deona (Chance) Wilson, Jake (Mercedes) Johnson, and Erica (Robert) Reyes, and her grandchildren Samuel Cherry, Connor Cherry, Bradley Gildehaus, David Gildehaus, Aaron Gildehaus, Malachi Johnson, Zaden Johnson, Bobby Reyes, Aliyah Reyes, and Reuben Reyes.
