Shirley Ann Munson, 92, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22nd at the Church of Christ in Oak Grove.
Shirley was born November 19, 1929, in Lock Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Gordan and Eva M. (Lile) Shaffer. She was a receiving clerk at Sears for over 25 years. Shirley enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Wendell.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Wendell Munson; daughter, Patty Dyke; brother, Dwayne Shaffer; daughter-in-law, Genise Munson; and twin grandchildren, Michael and Leslie Munson.
Her survivors include two sons: Mike Munson (Michelle) and Jim Munson; two brothers, Ned Bashford and Larry Bashford; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
