Robert “Bob” David Dryden, 69, of Iola, Kansas, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, in Coffeyville, KS. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28th at the Iola Masonic Lodge #38, 201 W. Madison Avenue, Iola, KS 66749. Food and drinks will be served.
Bob was born on September 15, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Robert and Terressa (DeFord) Dryden. He married Deborah Chowning on May 15, 1971. They welcomed two sons, William and Jason. Bob later married Toni Nicklin on May 17, 1992. They welcomed two daughters and a son, Angela, Christopher, and Shannon. In his spare time, Bob loved listening to music while working on model cars and trucks, relaxing, fishing, working on cars, and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Terressa Dryden; three sisters, Noni, Charlotte, and Shelie; two brothers-in-law, Charles and Kenny; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and Nakia.
His survivors include his wife, Toni; four siblings: Nita, Imy (Jerry), Laura (Ron), and Tony; his ex-wife, Deborah; his children: William (Samantha), Jason (Sam), Angela (Mike), Chris (Chrissy), and Shannon; his grandchildren: Jessie, Marissa, Damiean, Maria, Faith, Makayla, Dominick, David, Mahailie, Breonna, Brylee, Terressa, Claudia, Vicky (Levon), Savanna (Dakota), and Keisha (Dallas); and his great-grandchildren: Zaylee, Octavia, and Kingston.
