Josephine “Josie” Y. Holler, 70, of Independence, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022.  Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM with services beginning at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home.

Josie was born March 19, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Jesse and Frances Flores. On June 2, 1979 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Russell Holler. Josie owned an in-home daycare & was known as “Grandma Josie” to many children.

Josie was proceeded in death by her father & mother her brothers, Johnny, Jimmy & sister Patty.

Josie is survived by her husband, Russell, her son, Russ Holler (Crystal) & daughters, Tina Wilson (Scott), Alicia Appling (Tony) & Megan Holman (Casey). Her sisters, Delores Flores & Teresa McKown and her brother Pete Flores.

Her grandchildren were her joy in life, Ethan, Mackenzie, Abby, Siena, Julia, Michael, Sophie, Casey & Leo.
