Gary “Todd” Parker, 47 of Independence passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Visitation will be 6-7 pm Tuesday July 24, 2012 at College Park Community of Christ Church 1021 W. College St. Independence, MO 64050. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 pm. Cremation. Memorial Contributions may be made for his son Trey.
Todd was born October 18, 1964 in Independence, MO to Gary T. & Suzanne (Clark) Parker. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On August 27, 1994 he married Sherri Hamm. Todd was an owner operator of a moving company. He enjoyed fishing, camping, dirt bikes, go carts and loved spending time with his family.
Todd was preceded in death by his parents and son Tyler Parker.
Todd is survived by his wife Sherri Parker of the home; son: Trey Parker of the home; daughter: Cecily Giffen (Nick) of Goldsboro, N.C.; granddaughter: Myannah Sharp; 2 sisters: Lisa Parker-Limberg of Grain Valley, MO, Kelly Helgens of Monticello, IA; 1 brother: Dustin Parker of Independence, MO, and mother-in-law: Martha Hamm.
