Terry Lee Piatt, 60, passed away with her family in her home, Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in Independence, MO.
She was born September 3, 1951, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to William and Fay Levitt. They gathered to Missouri in 1954.
Terry was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. She was also a configuration management manager for Harmon Electrics for 25 years. She was a faithful member of the Grain Valley Church of Jesus Christ Restoration Branch where she served as Music Director, Secretary, organist, and pianist. She loved her scriptures and music. Mrs. Piatt enjoyed camping, kayaking, and hiking with her husband, Garry. She also enjoyed cross-stitch, crochet, and baking for her family.
She is survived by her husband David, grandsons Joseph and Samuel; Garry’s children Sarah, Misty, Cindy, Garry II and his wife Chris; his grandchildren Gabiel, Aisling, Garion, Rachel, Hannah, and Amber.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Grain Valley Church of Jesus Christ Restoration Branch, 32811 E. Truman Road.
