Joseph Charles Scott, 17, of Oak Grove, MO, born September 21, 1995 passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 in an automobile accident less than 2 miles from his home. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove with a Celebration of Joseph’s Life Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Joseph was a junior at Oak Grove High School where he lettered in track & field. Joseph loved his family and friends above all else. He reveled in joking, pulling pranks and making people laugh. He loved hunting with his papa and uncles. Joseph will be missed for his quick wit, his big heart and his million dollar smile.
Joseph was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Robert Seth Scott; maternal great-grandmother: Millie George.
Joseph leaves behind his mother & stepfather: Cristin & Mark Golden; father & stepmother: Tony & Ruth Scott; sister: Emily Scott; stepsisters: Samantha, Daphne, Kody & Jamie; stepbrothers: Matt & Patrick; maternal grandparents: Charles & Mary Daniels; paternal grandmother: Helen Scott; maternal great0grandmother: Betty Green; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too many to list.
