Emma Lou “Pat” Stiegemeyer, 80, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 31st at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; burial in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. The family will receive friends fron 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association-Heart of America Chapter, 3846 West 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
Pat was born December 21, 1932 in Mtn. View, AR, the daughter of Benjamine F and Ora L. (Adams) Martin. She grew up and attended school in Texas while traveling back and forth from Texas to Michigan, farming with family. Later in life she worked as dental assistant for Dr. Howard in Oak Grove Missouri, she loved and cared for her patients. In 1972 she met Raymond Stiegemeyer, they married on April 6th, 1973, and she faithfully loved Ray until her last moments. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing and jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamine and Ora Martin; her husband Raymond in 2010; her son Charley Faulk III in 2001; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Her survivors include 2 daughters: LaVonna and husband Rod Bacon, and Debby Boeh; 4 son: Greg Faulk and wife Heidi, Robert Faulk and Patti, Mark Stiegemeyer and wife Tina, Matthew Stiegemeyer and wife Tammy; 4 grandsons: Robert, Jared, Gregory and Allen; 6 granddaughters: Rayna, Jessica, Stephanie, Kristian, Kayla and Aimee; previous husband: Charley Faulk Jr. and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
