Helen Rogers, 97, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away August 27, 2011 at the Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab. She was born May 27, 1914, in Independence, MO, to Bruce & Mary Ann Witt. Funeral service will be at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, on September 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m.
Helen was a comptroller at Rosse Lithographing until 1990. She had worked at Ray Printing, DST, Shyrock Realty and Bingham Rollers. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a wonderful cook and a fun traveling companion. She loved life and was a caring friend to many. She was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church, a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy S. Rogers, her parents, and her sisters, Lavona Sears, and Charlene Roberts and son-in-law, Wayne Tiedeman. Her survivors include her daughter, Jan Tebben (Mike), granddaughters, Angela Ball (Kevin), and Melanie Tiedeman (Priscilla Dance). Great grandchildren include, Andrew (Mayra), Brayden, Kiley, & Corbin Ball. Great-great grandchildren include: Romi, Xavier, and Andrea Ball.
Her extended family members include: Jeff Tebben (Christine) Ty & Max, Amy Nadeau (Mark) Rachel & Morgan Kilmer, and Sara Nadeau (Randy) Emma, Claire, Phillip, and Alex.
