Glenn Ivan Berry Sr., 74 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26th at Calvary Baptist Church, Blue Springs. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs.
Glenn was born on October 6, 1934 in Warrensburg, MO, the son of Glen “Bee” and Ruth (Stoneking) Berry. He retired from Equifax Insurance in 2006. Glenn was currently writing a book about the Old West outlaws.
Glenn’s survivors include his wife of 47 years, Bonnie J. Berry; two sons; Glenn Berry Jr. and his wife, Dr. Diane Voss and Christopher Yancey Berry; three grandchildren; Jake Edward Berry, Jessica Kaye Berry and Alec Ivan Berry; four brothers; Wayne Berry and his wife, Sharon, Bill Berry, Mike Berry, and Terry Berry; and five sisters: Louise Slade, Wanda Reeves, Glenda Horn, Mary Eites and Virginia Barnes.
