Amber Dawn Osburn, 30, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009. A visitation will be held from 11 am -12 noon on Saturday, April 18th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO, with a Memorial Service beginning at 12:00 noon.
Amber was born on January 21, 1979, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from U.M.K.C. Amber loved horses, was an accomplished rider and enjoyed training them.
She is survived by her mother: Debra Duncan & husband Linn; her father: Johnny Osburn; a brother: Joshua Osburn; maternal grandmother: Jo Ann Janway; paternal grandmother: Sharon Duncan; paternal grandfather: Larry & Lois Duncan; great-grandmother: Hilda Bradley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
