Donna Lee Wilson, 74, of Lee’s Summit, MO, formerly of South Kansas City, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at Lee’ Summit Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, April 3rd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery, Buckner. The family will receive friends at Royer’s from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. preceding the funeral.
Donna was born on April 11, 1934 in Buckner, MO, the daughter of Ollie & Almeda (Russell) Frasher. She had been employed as a loan officer at the Kansas City Credit Union until retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarine. Donna loved her friends & family and enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and shopping for jewelry.
Her survivors include four sons: Greg Wilson & wife Anne of Richmond, VA, Richard Wilson & wife Cappy of New York, Dennis Wilson & wife Jama of Raytown, MO, and Bradley Wilson of Kansas City, MO; two brothers: Gary Frasher of Lee’s Summit, MO and Dwayne Frasher of Peculiar, MO; one sister: Glenda Hale of Oak Grove, MO; and six grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
