Lucy Teresa Williamson, “Lou”, 77, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009, at her home. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, 805 NW R.D. Mize Road, Blue Springs, MO 64015. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. John LaLande.
Lou was born on May 22, 1931, the daughter of Michael and Rosa (Bohrer) Huber. She married Sidney L. Williamson on April 22, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2008. An infant brother and sister also preceded her in death.
Lou was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed living at Truman Lake and the many friends she and Sid had made there. She was a member of St. John LaLande where she had been a member of the Alter Society. She had been employed as a nurse at the Grain Valley Schools. In her spare time she enjoyed painting, gardening, and canning.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Williamson (Roxanne) of Jacksonville, FL, Candy Williamson Curry (Tim) & Joyce Williamson Stacer (Jim) all of Grain Valley, MO, one brother, Norbert Huber (Dottie) of Blue Springs, MO, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
