Garen David Bindi, 18, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, June 24th at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, 400 East 14th Street, Oak Grove, Missouri. Burial will follow in Sni Mills Cemetery.
Garen was born on June 16, 1991, the son of Christina (Schellenburger) & David Bindi. He was going to be a Senior at Oak Grove High School where he played football, participated in the weight lifting program, and was enrolled to begin the CTC program at Fort Osage in the fall. He was employed by Jackson County Parks and Rec.
His survivors include his mother: Christina Bindi of the home; his father: David Bindi of Lee’s Summit; two brothers: Dylan Bindi & Dakota Bindi of the home; a sister: Caramia Bindi and a brother: Sammy Bindi, both of Lee’s Summit; maternal grandparents: Becky & Wayne Shockley of Blue Springs; and paternal grandparents: Karen & Roger Bindi of Lee’s Summit.
