Lavada J. Davis, 78 of Lone Jack, MO passed away June 15, 2009 at Truman Medical Center Lakewood in Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held Thursday June 18, 2009 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at Royer Funeral Home Grain Valley, MO with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in Valley Memorial Gardens cemetery Grain Valley, MO.
Lavada was born July 23, 1930 in Maysville, Oklahoma the daughter of Ray and Beulah (Hobbs) Wooten. On July 17, 1948 she married Ronald G. Davis who preceded her in death August 5, 2008.
She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family.
Lavada is survived by her children Barbara Rodgers, Betty Lyons, Carol Davis, Ronald Davis and Jack Davis, Many grandchildren and great grandchildren and 2 brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,2 daughters Alice Davis and Shirley Davis, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
