Funeral: 7:30 p.m.
Linda S. Thomas Berry, 57, of Grain Valley, MO, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House after a long illness. Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 6th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. Burial in Valley Memorial Gardens will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until service time on Monday.
Linda was born on March 4, 1952 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Elmer & Iona (Lawrence) Peterson. She had been employed as an insurance adjuster for OOIDA in Grain Valley for about 20 years, retiring 9 years ago. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.
Preceding Linda in death were her father and a brother, David Peterson.
Her survivors include three daughters: Angie Thomas of Independence, MO, Shanna Hutchens & husband Tom of Blue Springs, and Jamie Moore & husband Bill of Grain Valley, MO; her mother: Waneva Peterson of Grain Valley, MO; eight grandchildren: Paige Thomas, Jessica Hutchens, Joey Hutchens, Anthony Hawkins, Brittany Moore, Blake Moore, Jordan Herring, and Dana Kinder; and two great-granddaughters: Lillian & Braelyn.
Linda was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
