Funeral: 2:00 pm Tuesday immediately following visitation at the church
Burial: Buckner Hill Cemetery, Buckner, MO

William M. “Bill” Lyons, Jr., 62, of Buckner, MO, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Northlake, IL.
Bill was born on January 30, 1947, the son of Bill and Betty (Pachl) Lyons. He married Glenna Joan Armstrong July 3, 1991. Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church, Buckner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brad Lyons.
His survivors include his wife: Glenna Lyons of the home; one daughter: Jana Kleoppel & husband Greg of Odessa; three sons: Bill Lyons III & wife Catrina of Odessa, Lowell Lyons & wife Jodie of Monroe City, and Nick Lyons of Blue Springs; one sister: Beth Teegarden & husband Dave of Buckner; a step-son: Jason Lilly of Hannibal; a step-daughter: Michelle Daniels & husband Jerry of Hannibal; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15th at the First Baptist Church of Buckner, MO; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at the church preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to help defray final expenses.
