Bonnie Irene Wattenbarger, 70, of  Blue Springs, MO passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at her home.  Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Blue Springs Christian Church, 7920 South 7 Highway, Blue Springs, Missouri.  The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. preceding the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, MO.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Blue Springs Christian Church Building Fund.

 Bonnie was born September 28, 1939 the daughter of Charles William and Elizabeth Rosalie (Gates) Spencer1956.  Bonnie married Donald Wattenbarger. On August 5, 1956. She was a member of the Blue Springs Historical Society, the past President of SOS Vesper Hall in Blue Springs, MO, a volunteer at the Harry S. Truman Farm Home and an active member of the Blue Springs Christian Church.

 She was preceded in death by both parents and one son in law, Jason Cline.

Her survivors include her husband of 53 years: Donald Wattenbarger of the home; two daughters: Charmene  Hughes & husband Rick of Belton, MO and Janene Cline of Blue Springs, MO; four grandchildren: Jessica Wallace & husband Justin of Lexington, MO, Donald Aaron Hughes of Columbia, MO, Jaclyn Smith & husband Travis of Higginsville, MO, Jason Cline II of Blue Springs, MO; three great grandchildren: Sydney Smith, Xander Smith & Kaire Smith, all of Higginsville, MO; two sisters: Betty Daniels & husband Calvin of Independence, MO, and Norma Lightfoot & husband Bill of Kansas City, MO; two brothers: Ralph Spencer & wife Joyce of Overton, NV, and J.W. Spencer and wife Viola of Mendon, MO.
