Mary Lou Butler, 51, of Oak Grove, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in her home surrounded by her family. During her couragious battle with breast cancer, her faith in God never wavered.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Cross Creek Baptist Mission, 1050 Southeast 15th Street, Oak Grove, MO. Burial to follow in the Slater City Cemetery, Slater, MO. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Oak Grove Community Services League or the Cross Creek Baptist Mission.
Mary Lou was born November 12, 1958 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Charles Leroy and Louise (Walkup) Tracy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles L. Tracy.
Her survivors include her mother: Louise Tracy of Oak Grove: three sons: Bubba “Chris” Butler, Isaac Butler & wife Monica, all of Oak Grove, MO, and Benjamin Butler of Polo, MO; two daughters: Rachael Butler of Gladstone, MO and Abigail Donovan of London, England: two brothers: Michael Tracy & wife Katie of Odessa, MO, and John Tracy of Owensville, MO: two nieces: Jeanne Hicks and Angie Tracy, both of Oak Grove, MO; one nephew: Johnny Tracy of Georgia; and several great nieces and nephews.
