Frances Evelyn Sanstra, 87, of Blue Springs, MO went to be with the Lord and her loved ones early morning on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Shangri La Nursing and Rehab home in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. preceding the service at the funeral home. Burial at 3:00 p.m. Sunset Hills Cemetery, Warrensburg, MO. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Parkway, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Frances was born August 25, 1922 in Warrensburg, MO to Samuel and Eula Mae (Taylor) Aber. She grew up in Kansas City, MO, loved life and had a wonderful since of humor.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Samuel and Eula Aber, and son Mickey Sanstra.
Frances leaves behind her son; Richard and his wife Carol Sanstra of Stockton, MO, a daughter; Vicki Bell and her partner Barbara McCray of Kansas City, MO; and a daughter-in-law; Jean Sanstra, wife of Mickey of Oak Grove, MO; 10 grand children; 20 great-grand children and 7 great- great-grand children. Those she left behind will miss her every day.
