Gerald W. Cline, 81, of Lone Jack, MO, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove; burial in Sni Mills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home preceding the service.
Jerry was born May 13, 1928 in Lone Jack, MO, the son of Homer and Clara (Hunt) Cline. He married Julia Schoonover in 1947. Jerry later married Emalie Johnson. He worked many years as a machinist before retiring from Allis-Chalmers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Emalie, and one daughter Rhonda Young.
His survivors include three sons: Dennis Cline of Lone Jack, MO, Charles Johnson & wife Debbie of Lees Summit, MO, and Jim Young of Greenwood, MO; two daughters: Cheryl Clary & husband Dave of Blue Springs, MO, and Dee Padgett & husband Larry of Lees Summit, MO; his first wife: Julia Cline of Oak Grove, MO; one brother: William Cline of Texas; and eleven grandchildren.
