Robert ( Bob ) U. Brookshier, 75, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away October 25, 2010, at the home.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30 at First Baptist Church of Grain Valley. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. preceding the service.
Bob was born January 18, 1935 in Warrensburg, MO, the son of Tommie and Helen ( Cunningham ) Brookshier.
He was employed as a Line Foreman for Missouri Public Service.
His memberships include the IBEW Local # 814 andthe Masonic Lodge #391 of Raytown, MO.
Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grain Valley.
He wasa veteran of the United States Army.
Bob is survived by his wife Bonita; brother Clyde; sister Betty; son Tommie Brookshier; three daughters:
Loretta MacDonald, Jodi Downing and Lorinda Cook; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;
and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is kindly requesting donations to the American Cancer Society.
