Tamera Lou (Pigg) Christian, 50, of Cole Camp, MO (formerly of Oak Grove, MO) passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 27, 2010. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 3rd at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until service time.
Tammy was born August 16, 1960 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Gary & Connie (Keck) Pigg. She was an Oak Grove High School graduate. She married Dennis A. Christian on July 21, 1985. Tammy was employed as a teacher’s assistant & bus driver for the Cole Camp Public School District. She was a strong believer in Christ. Tammy dearly loved her children, grandchildren, family & friends. She loved animals. She enjoyed scrapbooking and exploring nature on her 4-wheeler.
Her survivors include her husband: Dennis A. Christian; one daughter: Terri Weathers & husband Tony of Oak Grove; one son: D.C. Christian II of Cole Camp; her parents: Gary & Connie Pigg of Oak Grove; one sister: Becky Ogden & husband Steve of Oak Grove; one brother: Jay Pigg & wife Chris of Berthoud, Colorado; and two grandchildren: Brenton & Isaiah Weathers.
