Elizabeth L. Rupert, 58, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, MO. A memorial visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Royer Funeral Home-Grain Valley, MO.
Elizabeth was born May 28, 1952 in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Elmo & Dorothy (Patton) Anderson. On December 27, 1970 Elizabeth married Leon Rupert. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Dorothy Anderson and her brother: Richard Anderson.
Her survivors include her husband of 40 years: Leon Rupert of Grain Valley, MO; one daughter: Katy Nelson & husband Jason of Topeka, KS; one son: Michael Rupert & wife Carol of Ohio; her father: Elmo Anderson of Oak Grove, MO; and six grandchildren: Kynthia, Jedidiah, Civana, & Sierra Nelson, and Stetson & Courtney Rupert.
