Linda Darlene Fisher, 64, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Centerpoint Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, April 18 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. A Graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, April 19 at the Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
Linda was born April 9, 1947 in Brownsville, TX, the daughter of William & Reba (Rogers) Ratliff. She married Michael E. Fisher on September 1, 2002. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her pets, gardening, and her family.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, her maternal grandparents: Shelby & Mae Rogers, and a nephew: John Ratliff.
Her survivors include her husband Michael; two sons: Paul Turnage of Bonner Springs, KS and Grant Turnage & wife Angelique of Grain Valley, MO; her mother: Reba Ratliff of Raytown, MO; one grandson: Bobby Turnage; one granddaughter: Brynn Turnage; four brothers: Bill Ratliff & wife Donna of Kingsville, MO, Larry Ratliff & wife Carol of Grain Valley, MO, Stan Ratliff of Moberly, MO, and Doug Tipton & wife Cindy of Dallas, TX; and one sister: Christy Ratliff of Lyons, KS; a brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Butch & Cynthia Garrett of Kansas City, MO; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
