George A. Cole, Jr., 57, of Oak Grove, MO, passed away September 25, 2011 at his home.
Visitation will be 6-8p.m. Friday, September 30 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO.
Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. Contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Community Service League and Easter Seals.
George was born October 29, 1953 in Kansas City, MO, to George & Marie Mae (Oviatt) Luther.
George loved his grandchildren, fishing, and telling jokes, and he was his biggest fan.
George is survived by his wife: Rachel Wood of the home; daughter: Dana Smith & husband Scott of Independence, MO, three sons: Brent Cole of Kansas City,MO., Mitchell Cole of Oak Grove, MO., Chad Cole of Oak Grove, MO.; four grandchildren: Cameron and Conner Smith, Tyler and Kyleigh Cole; parents: George Cole, Sr. of Blue Springs, MO, Marie Luther of Oak Grove, MO; brother: Michael Cole of Levasy, MO.; five sisters: Patricia Oles of Sibley, MO., Virginia Banderas of Oak Grove, MO., Brenda Herford of St. Charles, MO., Cheryl Anderson and Mildred Boyer both of Independence, MO. and many nieces and nephews.
