Irene Kay Smith, 69, of Bates City, MO, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at her home.
Visitation will be 12-1p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO.
Funeral Service will follow at 1p.m. at the Funeral Home. Contribution may be made to the Oak Grove Community Service League.
Irene was born August 7,1942 in Grandview, MO to Carnie & Hattie (Jones) Swartz.
Irene is survived by her Daughter: Stephanie Rodgers (Doug) of Blue Springs, MO; Two sons: Ted Hayward, Jr. (Susan) of Rapid City, S.D, Cary Hayward (Shannon) of Grain Valley, MO; Stepdaughters: Cindra Jones Bates City, MO, Vickie Harvey (Jerry) of Newalla, OK, Billie Jones of Dearlodge, Mt; Stepson: Steven Jones of Battle Mountain, NV; One brother: James Swartz of Moberly, MO; Three sisters: Wanda Reed of Oak Grove, MO, Kathy Bockelman of Cole Camp, MO, Connie Viebrock of Stover, MO; and her best friend and companion: Darrell Jones of the home; Nine Grandchildren.
