Lowell D. (LD) Williams

Lowell D. (LD) Williams, 77, of KC, MO, was granted his angels wings on Dec. 24, 2011. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family and friends for whom he influenced and touched throughout his life.
LD was born on June, 10, 1934 to Douglas and Gladys Williams of Nevada, MO. LD moved to the greater KC area where he started his 44 year career as a truck driver. LD drove for several different companies, including Time (DC) and ABF. LD was a member of the Local 41 Teamsters and the Grandview chapter of the Royal Arch/Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Lynette, sons Dustin and Jason Dungan, daughter-in-law Melissa, grandchildren Collin and Savannah, brother Richard, and sister Fern Swann. A celebration of his life will be held Dec. 30 at 2:00 PM, at the East Independence Church of Christ (2020 S. 291 Hwy, Indep. MO 64057).
