Sue Czar, 97, of Cassville, MO (formally) of Oak Grove, MO passed Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Cassville Health Care & Rehab in Cassville, MO.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Royer Funeral Home; Oak Grove, MO. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial in Sni Mills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Oak Grove.
Edith Susan “Sue” was born November 10, 1914 to John & Carolyn Aupperle in Adair, IA. Moved to Anita, IA as a child. Sue was the youngest of thirteen children. Upon completing high school went to Omaha, NE and earned her degree in cosmetology practicing that profession for over thirty-seven years. While working in Omaha, Sue met and married Howard Moyer on July 15, 1941. They moved to Overland Park, KS residing there until his death on March 16, 1967. A year later Sue met another wonderful man, Paul Czar and they were married on August 30, 1968, residing in Overland Park until retiring at Pomme de Terre Lake. In 1991 they moved to Blue Springs for two years then moved to Oak Grove, MO. In 1996 they moved into the Oak Grove Manor, living there until 2006. Sue was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Oak Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1997. twelve brothers and sisters, many friends and lived ones. Survivors to cherish her memory includes her stepson and daughter-in-law: Harold & Audrey Czar, two stepdaughters and son-in-laws: Barbara & Jack Reed, Marjorie & Ernest Gieseke. Twelve step grandchildren; forty-one great step grandchildren; twelve great great step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Sue will be greatly missed.
