Herbert Madison Ingham, 94, passed away on Monday February 6, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, Missouri with his loving wife by his side. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Herb was born April 13, 1928 to John Ingham and Goldena Ingham. He graduated from Urich High School in 1946. He married the love of his life, Nora Jean Hargrave in 1950. From there Herb was drafted into the Army in 1951. During his time in the service, he did a tour in Korea. He had 4 children: Michael, Patricia, James and Ronald. Herb worked for Missouri Gas Energy where he retired. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Some days you would find him hanging out with his best friend Don Brundage, fishing or just arguing about life. Herb had 4 grandchildren: Derick, Amy, Nick and Joey. He had 5 great-grandchildren; Shelby, Autumn, Alexa, Gunner and Silas, all in which had a special place in his heart. His wittiness, sense of humor and his love will never be forgotten. Heaven gained one special man.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Goldena Ingham; brothers: Bill and Johnnie; sisters: Maxine and Irene; and best friend Don.
Herb is survived by his wife Jean; son, Mike and wife Nan; daughter, Patty and husband Jimmy; son, Jim and wife Debbie; and son, Ron; grandchildren: Derick and wife Anna; Amy, Nick and Joey; great-grandchildren: Shelby, Autumn, Alexa, gunner and Silas; and many nieces and nephews.
