She was a great person to work for – kind, but demanded perfection in our technical writeups. I learned so much about formatting and Microsoft Word from her, and also the value and importance of precision and consistency. Throughout my career in IT people have often commented about the quality of my documentation – this is largely a function of Alice’s teaching. I just wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for Alice and the lessons she taught me that are still so valuable to me even 25 years later. Rest in peace, Alice.
