Aram Galoyants, 96, peacefully passed away on September 2, 2023, surrounded by family at Saint Luke’s Hospice House. We will gather to remember and honor his life on September 9, 2023, at Royer New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, MO.
Aram was born on May 9, 1927, in Baku where he spent his life working in construction. He was a father to two children – Karine and Gerogiy. In December of 1990, he immigrated to the United States and called Kansas City, MO home. He continued to work until age 65 when he retired.
Aram was always full of life and loved being around friends and family. He enjoyed watching tennis, soccer, and hockey. He loved animals, especially dogs (he never met one he didn’t like). He liked to go fishing and spend time outdoors.
Aram is survived by his children, Karine and Georgiy; his grandchildren, Ana, Veronika, and Vladislav; his great-grandchildren, Katerina, Dasha, Mila, and Lily; his siblings, Ashot and Flora.
