Beverly Jo Swafford, 78, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Beverly was born July 15, 1943, in Independence, MO, the daughter of Stanley and Cleo (Cummins) Stewart. She worked as a teller at several banks in the Independence area. Beverly enjoyed playing cards, watching the birds, and Westerns, especially John Wayne. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and never missed any of their sporting events. She always tried to feed anyone near and loved talking to her family on the phone.
Beverly is survived by her son, Greg Ross of Oak Grove, MO; daughter, Kendra Smith (Matt) of Bates City, MO; three grandchildren: Michael Ross of Oak Grove, Megan Ross of Odessa, MO, and Katie Sehgal (Vigit) of Liberty, MO; great-grandchildren: Dominic Ross, Sophia Ross, Emilia Lance, Aryan Sehgal, and Zayn Sehgal. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Donald in 2019.
