Beverly Lou Perkins, 75, of Independence, MO passed away May 12, 2023. Passed away May 12, 2023. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at First Baptist Church 131 S. Hudson St., Buckner, MO 64016. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Beverly Lou Perkins was born November 24, 1947 to Fred and Corinne (Humphrey) Reynolds in Collins, MO. She attended William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO and worked for the Missouri Division of Family Services for 25 plus years. Beverly married Dave Perkins May 26, 1989 and they lived in Independence, MO. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother (mamaw), and great grandmother. She was strong in her faith and a strong advocate for animal rescues.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Reynolds, mother, Corinne Reynolds, and brother, Fred Reynolds Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Perkins, sister, Barb Griffitt, her son, David Holsapple, her daughter, Debi Jurkovac and husband Joe, and Jason Perkins. Her grandchildren: Josh Boling and wife Wendy, Samantha Squires and husband Seth, Daniel Holsapple, Jayme Mahon and husband JD, David Towers, Jessica Jurkovac, Audrey Perkins, and Andrew Perkins. 4 great grandchildren: Realynn, Darcy, Isabell, and Liam. 1 niece, Delisa and 1 nephew, Rob.
