Beverly S. Williams

Beverly was a sweet, gentle soul who loved hard and loved everyone, especially her family.  She started her nursing career at a young age and continued until she retired in 2007.  Beverly married the love of her life, Robert Williams Sr. on November 18, 1969, and with this marriage came five children who she loved deeply.  She cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and even great-nieces and nephews.  Beverly loved living her later years with her best friend and partner in crime, her sister Shirley Jean.  They loved being at anything and everything to do with their babies.  You could always count on the laughter and shenanigans they were always up to.  You never knew what they were up to, but we never had to bail them out of jail as a result of it.  We praise the Lord for that!

Beverly is already missed with her quirky laugh and her tongue sticking out.  We always had fun, laughter, and even pranks, especially with her nephew, “the favorite” Josh.  She would claim she didn’t have favorites but we all knew better.  She was always the sweetest with Josh and his pranks, while she threatened to beat her favorite baby girl.  There began the laughter we all knew.  All jokes aside, no matter what, she loved all of us deeply and would walk on fire for any of us.  That was her sweet, sweet soul.  She was never quick to anger, but was always quick to love everyone, no matter the heartache she might have endured.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Edward and Mavis Aline Burris; her husband, Robert Williams Sr; infant son, David Lee Williams; daughter, Brenda Lee Brady; sister, Connie Norbury; son-in-law, Matthew Brent Gannan; and brother-in-law, Leon Reardon.
