Brian David Coleman, 56, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1st at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO; burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Brian’s favorite team was the K.C. Chiefs and he requested everyone in attendance wear their favorite casual sportswear. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Brian was born on April 12, 1968, the son of Larry Paul and Betty Mae (Akers) Coleman. He was an avid fan of the K.C. Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals and was a big Star Wars fan, as well. Brian loved spending time with his family and his dogs, Ryder and Rey. He was a caring person and always willing to help anyone in need.
Brian was preceded in death by his wife of 12 years, Kelly; and his dogs, Shadow and Bella.
His survivors include his son, Nick Coleman; daughters, Ashley Coleman and Kylie Coleman (Brody Minor); granddaughter, Eleia Kelly Grace Minor; his parents, Paul and Betty Coleman; and sister, Toni Lynn Lockman.
