He was a wonderful mentor—generous with his time and wisdom. We laughed and laughed and laughed. Most recently, we had coffee at the independent living apartments. He was getting ready for yet another radio show where he would be at the mic. He loved being a newsman, telling stories, and working with his team. He had a good group of friends there.
I’m proud to have had him as my boss, mentor, and most importantly, my friend. Tom, your call meant the world to me. Peace to all of you.
