I met Cindy at Rustic Yearnings while working on my Dear Jane quilt. She was so supportive and kind. Later, she joined the Lee’s Summit Quilt Guild. I was in a small group, again working on Dear Jane. Cindy held the group meetings in her wonderful sewing room in her home. Not only did she provide encouragement, friendship and advise but if you needed anything she would say, “Oh, just take that I have plenty.” She was one of the most generous people I will ever know. I will miss Cindy. Prayers for her husband and family.

Dear Dan, Amy, Andy and family,
You know how much I love Cindy. I appreciate you sharing her with all of us quilters that count her as a blessing in our lives. She was kind, generous and thoughtful. She taught many of us to love making quilts. She was always smiling! I’m so sorry for your loss. Love you bunches!

Very sorry to hear of Cindy’s passing. She was very young. She fought a good fight against Cancer. She was always smiling. She will be missed.

She will be really missed. I have known her through quilting. She was kind, good hearted, and like me, liked to sleep in a cool room. She has recently been my roommate at quilt retreats. We also shared my fan while we were quilting at retreats. My husband, Robert and I took quilting lessons from her. She was always so good and supportive. I’m so sorry to see her go.

I was very lucky to have known Cindy through quilting. I enjoyed visiting with her and was always sharing her knowledge. She will be missed.
