Cindy L. Geiersbach


Cindy Lou Geiersbach, 55, of Republic, Missouri, died at her father’s home in Oak Grove, Missouri on September 9, 2019 after a valiant battle with lung cancer. While living in North Carolina, she worked for a circuit board manufacturer and while in Missouri worked as a forklift and grab truck driver.

She was born on December 31, 1963 in Bay City, Michigan. She was the youngest of 6 children of Edwin L. Geiersbach and the late Alice M. Geiersbach.

She is survived by 4 siblings: Cheryl A. Boyd (Dennis) of Owasso, Oklahoma, Keith E. Geiersbach of Oak Grove, Missouri, Paul A. Geiersbach (JoAlice) of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Wayne D. Geiersbach (Ima) of Oak Grove, Missouri. Other relatives include Nieces: Rachel M. Jones (James) of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Michelle L. Boyd of Owasso, Oklahoma, Aimee N. Nelson of Murrieta, California, Laura M. Geiersbach and Alice M. Geiersbach of Oak Grove, Missouri and Amelia (Mia) Geiersbach of Granite City, Illinois, and Nephews: Aaron Geiersbach and Jake Geiersbach of O’Fallon, Missouri and Christopher Brown and Elex Reyes of Murrieta, California.  She is also survived by her best friend Sylvia Carr of Republic, Missouri and closely-knit extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice May Geiersbach, older brother, Alan Lee Geiersbach and a nephew, Matthew Paul Geiersbach.

A memorial service will be held at Church of Christ Restored, 553 NW 1511 Road, Holden, Missouri 64040 on September 21st at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be sent to Church of Christ Restored or American Cancer Society.
