David Allen Hull, 65, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at his home. Services will be at: Royer’s Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO on Saturday, March 9, 2024 with visitation at 10:00 am and service at 12:00 pm; burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
David was born November 19, 1958, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Charles Warren Hull and Emma Lou (Haynes) Hull. David was a 1977 graduate of Blue Springs High School, where he excelled at athletics, especially track. In 1998 David founded Hulco Parts, which his wife, Janis, will carry on to make Dave proud. In his free time, David enjoyed fishing, Nascar and dirt track racing. David had a great sense of humor and always made his friends and family laugh. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
His surviving wife of 38 years, Janis Hull, was his pride and joy. Their found love will last forever. He also leaves behind his daughter Malissa Larkin and son-in-law Bobby Larkin. His selflessness and love are the reason Bobby and Malissa are who they are today. He will be missed by brothers, Chuck Hull, Brian Hull and sister-in-law, Pam Hull. As well as his niece, Heather Mansell who has worked for Hulco Parts for 24 years. The lives he touched the most were his five grandchildren, DJ and Timmy Harris, Bobby, Braylin and Kamryn Larkin. He made everyone feel like family from the first day he met them. He was so proud of his kids and grandkids accomplishments and you would certainly hear about it whenever you talked to him. His love and compassion for his family were second to none. The dinner table will never be the same.
Losing Dave has left a mark on not only his family but also the racing world. He sponsored Bray’s Motor Sports, Big Ed, Eddie Jr, Kaleb and Kody Bray, for nearly 20 years.
Just as his late brother, Gary Hull, sister Sharon Lou Hull, his father Charles (Warrnie) Hull and mother Emma Lou Hull have preceded him in death, and are not here physically, they will be in all of our hearts for eternity.
Pallbearers: Brian Hull, Bobby T Larkin, Bobby M Larkin, DJ Harris, Timmy Harris, Eddie Bray
Additionally, a celebration of David’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Side Pockets in Blue Springs, Missouri
