Donna Sue Bergschneider, 78, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Messiah Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Donations to the church can be sent to: Messiah Lutheran Church ~ 613 S. Main Street Independence, MO. 64050. The Church will be open to receive flowers at 10:00 a.m. on the day of service.
Donna was born March 21, 1944 in Independence, Missouri to Clarence E. and Anna M. (Frerking) Franke. Donna liked spending time at the casino playing the slot machines. She liked going out to eat at different places, and she absolutely enjoyed shopping for shoes as well. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oliver Bergschneider, of 59 years.
Donna is survived by daughter, Robin Sales (Sean); grandchildren: Sean (Miranda) Sales, Ryan Sales, and Great-granddaughter, Olivia Sales; son, Chris (Tonya) Bergschneider; grandchildren: Sheena, Shelby, Joseph, Taylor, Gage, Madison, Lane and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren: Hadley, Isabella and Sophia; sister, Iona Fischer (Al).
