Earl K Follett, 66, of Independence, Mo, passed away March 20, 2021 at his home. Celebration of Life Services will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2021 at Maywood Baptist Church.

Earl was born on February 8, 1955 in Kansas City, Mo to Robert & Madae Follett. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and automotive racing. He was a professional airplane and automobile mechanic. Earl enjoyed his black powder rifles; crafting and shooting them. He loved his wife and daughter and was a wonderful husband. He knew his way around the grill making the best smoked turkey, ribs, and brisket. Earl was a jack of all trades. He supported his wife and daughter and always had the best advice and hugs to comfort them.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents: Robert C Follett and Madae H Follett, and his in-laws: Don L Dillon and Eula L Dillon, Brother in-law: Matt Dillon, Niece: Shara Logan.

Earl is survived by wife: Gayla Follett of Independence, MO, daughter: Megan Larabee of Independence MO: Brother in-law Randy Dillon of Independence, MO: and Nephews: Josh Dillon, Cade Dillon, Jacob Logan, Justin Logan.
