Floyd M Richardson, a proud Korean War Veteran and devoted family man whose greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 92.
Born on August 18, 1933, Floyd grew up with a spirit of service and camaraderie. That spirit led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country with honor during the Korean War. He carried the discipline and loyalty he learned in the Marines throughout the rest of his life.
In his professional and personal life, Floyd was known for his love of recreation and his vibrant social nature. He was a natural dancer, always ready for a turn on the floor. He was also a keen competitor, enjoying cards, throwing darts, and shooting pool with his friends. In his younger days, he was a remarkably talented bowler. Floyd was a beloved fixture at his local lodge, a place where he made countless friends and shared endless laughs.
While he enjoyed his hobbies and his friends. Nothing brought him greater happiness than his grandchildren, Paige, Zachery, and Dalton. The light in his eyes and the warmth of his smile when he saw them were unforgettable and served as a testament to his unconditional love.
Floyd is survived by his loving son, Floyd E. Richardson, and his daughter-in-law, Tracy. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Paige, Zachery, and Dalton, and his brothers, Palmer Richardson and Bill Richardson. His spirit will live on in the memories of the many friends he made throughout his life at the lodge and beyond.
